The main purpose of the Warehouse Operative role is to safely carry out general warehouse duties as directed and to work as part of the Hobbycraft family.
Accurate picking, packing and dispatch of a range of Hobbycraft products.
Manual handling, staking and palletising of goods, both in-bound and out-bound.
Loading and unloading vehicles, both manually and by using Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE).
Ensuring all duties are carried out safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) having received appropriate training.
Ensuring a clean and safe, hazard free warehouse.
To develop productive working relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues, managers and all other personnel.
To undertake all duties whilst wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
To assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the Warehouse Management team.
