Technical Coordinator

I am currently looking for a Technical Coordinator for one of my large residential developers in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established team and a renowned developer, delivering large scale regeneration projects.

You will be based in the Head Office in West London and generally their projects could vary from 200 to 400 units. As the Technical Coordinator, you will be expected to have experience from developed design to construction (RIBA: 3-5). You will also be expected to work independently as well as within a team environment.


  • Management and motivation of both the technical and design teams
  • Assist the technical manager in delivering technical design and statutory compliance approvals in accordance with project specific requirements.
  • Assist the technical manager with with the organization of design activities to ensure programme requirements are achieved
  • Actively participate in design team meetings
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, site teams and sub-contractors in order to progress and resolve technical design and statutory compliance matters.
  • Monitor the achievement of compliance and environmental obligations related to planning, building regulations and insurance, as well as sustainability targets etc.
  • Identify manage and mitigate design risks in a timely manner
  • Support members of the commercial and construction teams in achieving project goals.
  • Assist in the management and coordination of various departments ensuring progress of the design in an efficient manner
  • Participate (when required) on in site planning, logistics and set up
  • Manage RFI (request for information), NCR (non-conformance report), technical submittals
  • In addition to the above responsibilities the job may also require other duties to be performed as assigned by their line manager

You will be expected to:

-Have experience with working drawings and must also have experience with fire regulations as well as MHBC regulations
