We have various part-time opportunities from 16 hours to 30 hours available to join our service in Street on a permanent basis.
Our service in Street is made up of three supported living houses where we provide overnight support as well as support during the day, and a small community service in close proximity where we support 13 people with a learning disability.
We support four lovely ladies that share a house that love being social and active, and going to the disco. They also love to cook, spend time with their family and friends, going to work, and complete jigsaws. We support 4 young men in another supported living home, who all lead very active lives, and have different interests such as swimming, going for long walks, rugby and comics. We also have two gentlemen that we support who like to go to the wrestling, listen and dance to music, play musical instruments and act. We support two women who have lived together for many years, who enjoy going to work, knitting, jigsaws, going on holidays and adventure days, getting out in the community. We also support a family in the community who have young children.
The best thing about this service is the variety in your day to day - the people that we support like being supported in different ways. It's really important that you are comfortable with proving personal care, completing sleep-in shifts, working weekends, as well as some light domestic support. Rest assured, our award winning training will ensure that you are fully prepared to be the best Support Worker that you can be
