Our client is looking to bring on board a Site Engineer on a permanent basis, taking on responsibility for setting out and surveying on a variety of civil infrastructure related contracts including drainage and earthworks. Projects will range from smaller public works through to larger housing schemes and community centres.
This opportunity is offering a relocation package to the north western region of the country (Oban or Fort William areas) however the client will also consider candidates working away from home Monday - Friday and provide accommodation.
As site engineer you will be responsible for:
• Setting out for construction and infrastructure works
• Ensuring the project is delivered safely adhering to strict health and safety procedures
• Liaison with the project manager and site manager
• Administration and recording keeping of Quality Assurance systems onsite
Applicants must have the following:
• Minimum of HNC level qualification or equivalent in civil engineering
• Previous civil engineering experience in a contracting environment is essential particularly within groundworks and infrastructure
• Valid CSCS
• A full UK driving license
