The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cutting-edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment.
We now have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Sessional Tutor (Film & TV Production) on a on a permanent, sessional (ADHOC) basis (to cover three technical areas: Studio set building, Production management & Location & Studio Production).
The purpose of these roles is to teach and engage with our students, in order to give them the skills ready for a career in industry. To do this successfully you'll need:
In order to do this, you should have:
A teaching / assessing (as appropriate) qualification and subject-specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) qualification within a specified time scale.
English and Maths - must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2.
A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivering in the subject specialism.
