Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Eden Brown Synergy is working in partnership with a local government organisation in London which is seeking to recruit a Senior Project Manager on an interim basis. The post holder will manage a team delivering and monitoring planned works and capital programmes undertaken by contractors. They will also manage the enforcement of tenancy terms and conditions and leasehold contractual obligations relating to building alterations, as well as manage the preparation of Party Wall Awards, Landlord's licences and Right to Buy surveys.
Your new role as a Senior Project Manager:
Manage a team delivering planned works programmes and one-off small works including: carrying out site and post inspections, producing tender specifications, documents and approval notices, chairing site meetings and monitoring contractors to ensure programmes of work are undertaken on time, within budget and achieving agreed KPI targets, producing project progress reports.
Undertake effective consultation on future and existing planned programmes of works and ensure that the contractors resident liaison function meets diverse customer's needs in the preparation and delivery of works.
Co-ordinate and integrate the input from Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Clerk of Works and other associated specialist disciplines on multi- disciplinary projects and to verify the adequacy and competency of those inputs in order to deliver complex projects or programmes of work.
Provide professional and technical advice and reports on all matters within the functionality of the service, including undertaking the role of professional or expert witness at hearings, adjudications and legal proceedings etc.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
Educated to a construction related degree level or equivalent and/or experience in a social housing building repairs environment.
To be qualified to RICS, CIOB qualification or equivalent
A minimum of five years relevant experience in the public or private sector
Direct management of staff and clienting of project consultants in the delivery of projects
This role is for 12 weeks and is paying a £300 daily umbrella rate inside IR35.
