Senior DC Surveyor

PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Senior DC Surveyor to join our progressive Dimensional Control team based in Aberdeen on a long term basis.

These duties will involve:

• Compile survey specific method statements, risk assessments and job hazard analysis reviews
• Evaluate client requirements and recommend bespoke survey solutions and deliverables
• Provide reporting criteria offshore
• Tailor reporting deliverables to meet the client requirements
• Reverse engineer point cloud data to merge together data sources from vendors
• Extract Tie Point details from point cloud data to aid design process
• Maintain accurate survey tracker ensuring available resources can be identified promptly
• Maintain record of equipment calibrations, ensuring equipment has traceable certification
• Arrange recalibration of equipment as required
• Update client equipment delivery inspection requirements
• Arrange equipment 3rd party inspections where necessary
• Generate survey records as per Company p rocedure

This position would be well suited to an individual with some existing Senior DC Surveyor experience.

The successful candidate would ideally have the following skills and attributes:

• HND or equivalent in an appropriate discipline or extensive proven experience

• Demonstrable experience in the use of surveying equipment

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role

• Reasonable dexterity in the use of Software packages including Autodesk and MS Office

• Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS

• MIST
