Senior Associate - Business Development & Client Engagement - Climate & Resilience - London Based

This is your chance to be part of a leading global advisory, broking and solutions business working with clients around the world ​to turn risk into a path for growth. Based in London (other UK locations will be considered) you will be joining a business with roots established over 90 years ago.

As Senior Associate for business development​, you will work on designing and delivering solutions that manage risk, optimise benefits, cultivate talent, and expand the power of capital to protect and strengthen organisations and individuals.

As the successful candidate you will be provided with an exciting opportunity to develop both your client engagement and technical climate/sustainability related consulting capabilities.

You will be responsible for engaging directly with existing and potential future clients, and will be expected to contribute to generating revenue in line with the businesses broader sales strategy, as well as supporting the client project delivery, advising on the impact of climate-related risks and opportunities to their business for shaping client's long-term strategy and resilience.

Working across the client lifecycle, from initial engagement, listening and identifying needs, climate-based research, bid response, proposal development, project management & delivery and lastly ongoing relationship management for follow-on work, you will proactively drive the sales process and activity in relation to winning and developing new business.

As a Senior Associate you will Actively engage across the team and cross company subject matter experts to pool the best knowledge and resources for bid response, proposals, and different client projects, while working with them towards agreed deliverables and timelines, acting as the main point-person between the client and internal subject matter experts.

Ideally you will hold a Degree or master's degree in relevant field, with a demonstrable interest in climate change/sustainability/ESG initiatives. It is expected you will have had previous experience working in a similar role on an international basis.
