Do you want to help support pupils in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school?
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to work with pupils with complex
needs. All students have a statement of special educational needs for moderate to severe and
profound and multiple learning difficulties. Some students have additional complex learning, sensory
or physical needs; there is a growing number of students with high dependency medical needs or
autism spectrum conditions.
You will be supporting small class sizes in a High School with pupils aged
between 11 and 19.

The responsibilities of this role include:
Supporting the teacher of the teacher within the classroom
Working on a one to one basis with pupils to aid their learning
Helping pupils with any additional care needs (e.g. toileting, feeding, administering
Setting up the classroom for the lesson
The requirements for this role are:
A DBS on the update service
Team Teach qualification
Experience working with pupils complex needs
Being a dedicated teaching assistant who wants to help pupils reach their full potential
