We are working with a well established law firm, who are looking to recruit a Receptionist to join their team. You will be responsible for the running of the reception and the first point of contact for the firm. Our Receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization, welcoming guests and greet people who visit the business, you will also co-ordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Duties Include

  • Greet and welcome visitors and/or clients as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office and keep an accurate log of all visitors and deliveries
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area and all meeting rooms are tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries and frank and sort all outgoing post
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Complete client identification and engagement formalities
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing and any other administrative duties as may be requested by the Directors
  • Carry out routine housekeeping on own PC, eg: delete unwanted emails
  • Clean and look after own PC and telephone
  • Compliance with processes for the firm's accreditations/accounts and administrative disciplines and procedures and policies
