Our professional services client is looking for a Receptionist to join their busy team. As a business they are committed to offering a friendly working environment, where new ideas are encouraged and using your initiative is second nature.Responsibilities to include:Assisting with reception administrationUsing a switchboard to answer and filter incoming callsScanning, verifying and uploading documents into databasesFiling of documentationPerforming clerical duties of scanning, maintaining and retrieving of all records and work filesPerforming compliance checksOpening post Meeting and greeting of visitors and clientsPreparing drinks for meetingsBooking and preparation of meeting rooms as requiredEnsuring maintenance of reception areas and meeting roomsManaging internal and external post (distribution, logging, franking etc.)Skills & Qualifications:Previous reception experience in a professional services environment is desirableExcellent customer service skillsAble to use initiative with exceptional organisational skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint and ExcelConfident with personally managing a reception areaMust be able to understand and follow instructionsConfident with the ability to stay calm under pressureCapable of working on own initiativeExcellent written English with strong grammatical and spelling skillsAbility to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detailHas a flexible and methodical approach to their workDue to the location of the business you will need your own transport.
