The role will require you to review all UPS Field Service engineer's reports & external requests for quotations. Following review and having the reports technically evaluated, you will need to issue quotations to our customers. Following submission of the quotation you, in conjunction with the regions field based service sales staff, will effectively manage and track all outstanding quotes through to order placement.
Temporary Position- 9 months
Compensation package: £22,000 basic salary plus £2,000 bonus, 25 days holiday, 8% pension, life assurance, income protection and health cash policy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Service Remedial SalesTo become fully conversant with the Vertiv product and Service Sales offerings.As part of a team you will be tasked with reviewing and developing Vertiv service remedial sales offering for the range of products that Vertiv sells and also holds under contract.As part of a team you will be tasked with working closely with other internal departments (ie planning / scheduling / key accounts etc) to ensure that efficiency and customer service levels are maximized.You will be required to prepare & submit quotations for remedial, reactive & proactive opportunities. Such offering are: Repairs, Refurbishments, Consumable replacements, Training, Mods, Upgrades, equipment re-locations/De-commissionings, LIFE connections, Load bank testing, One off Impedance testing, health check, commissionings, Surveys, Baby sitting, IST, Alarm testing etc.Liaison by telephone with internal colleagues & external customers, suppliers etc.Proactive liaison and negotiation with customers regarding follow up of outstanding quotations.Attend customer's sites to undertake site surveys and site meetings as and when required.
Service Order processing and InvoicingOn receipt of the customer order you will be required to process and credit check each order in line with the Vertiv order process.You will ensure that all information relevant to the customers order and your associated quotation are processed in line with the Vertiv order process to enable material ordering, engineer allocation and customer contact by delivery teams ensuring that margins are maximized at all times.
ReportingTo meet/exceed all KPI's set.You will provide the Service Sales Manager with monthly / quarterly forecasting through the CRM tool.
