One of the most energy efficient operators in the UK oilseed sector, producing sustainable, high quality animal feed and food grade vegetable oil is seeking a Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to join its rapidly expanding team at its state-of-the art plant just south of Stratford-upon Avon.
In this role you will work on operational improvements to existing assets, work on projects and assignments to further develop the process plant and work on improving the performance of the biomass energy centre.
As a Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Engineer your duties will include:
Assisting with the design and procurement of minor projects and upgrades to enhance the business performance across the oilseed processing plant and the CHP facility.
Assisting with the development of KPIs for the business and information flow across the business.
Supporting the maintenance team with technical support and advice.
Taking responsibility for own continuous professional learning.
To be a successful a Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:
Preference will be given to a graduate with an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BEng / MEng qualification), as the role will be multi-faceted encompassing a broad spectrum of tasks and assignments.
Good Microsoft office skills, particularly XL.
Ability to meet deadlines, good time management.
Ambition to develop broader skills and experience in project management and / or project engineering.
CAD experience would be useful.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
This site is one of the most energy-efficient producers in the UK oilseed sector, producing sustainable, high-quality animal feed and food-grade refined vegetable oil. It generates heat and power for the process from UK forestry residues and off-cuts, and as such contributes to a greener and more sustainable environment for the UK.
Please note: This role is located in a rural location, without access to public transport. It will require working in an agricultural environment, with exposure to wheat, grain dust and other allergens.
In return, you will receive a salary of £22,000 - £26,000 per annum plus 33 days holiday (incl Bank Holidays) and a company pension scheme.
