We have an exciting opportunity for a Gardener / Groundstaff to join the dedicated team responsible for keeping the grounds and gardens in peak condition all year round.
Oundle School is spread throughout the historic town of Oundle, and owns and maintains extensive grounds, gardens and sports surfaces, which are fully used throughout the year. As part of the Grounds and Gardens team, you will undertake preparation and maintenance duties under the control of a supervisor to provide first class sports facilities and amenity areas.
Hours of duty are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday with one 30 minute paid meal break and one 30 minute unpaid meal break daily (40 paid hours per week). The role involves seasonal overtime requirements which will be based on a rota and may include evening and weekend work.
You must have a valid driving licence, and experience of using and handling light equipment and machinery used in garden and ground maintenance. An ability to work as a core team member and a willingness to learn are essential.
