We are recruiting for a Facilities Operator for a client based in Billingham.
This is a temporary role working 37.5 hours per week, 8am-4pm.
Ensuring requested works and routine waste systems are maintained to a high standard and in a timely manner
Provide Facilities Operatives planned and responsive janitorial tasks
Attend toolbox talks, assist Supervisor to review H&S requirements of all tasks responsible
Delivery of works such as office moves, equipment and machinery relocations within capabilities, general site waste and recycling collection, confidential waste collection, production waste collection, waste electrical and electronic equipment, bio-hazard waste, warehouse/stores receipting goods, solvent waste, site tidy, sample deliveries and co-ordination of transport, forklift services, site gritting and snow clearance, ground's maintenance, and contractor escort duties as required and available
Proactively check all facilities during works for damage and report to helpdesk for repair
Organised, proactive and problem solving
Confident in identifying, evaluating, correcting errors, and developing processes
Able to communicate effectively face to face, by telephone and electronically
Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
