Engineering Project Manager - Contract - Ouside IR35 - Lincolnshire
Our client are a leading process manufacturing company and they are seeking an Engineering Project Manager on an initial 6 months contract basis.
Duties:
Delivery of pre-defined capital projects across the business, managing the projects from scoping to commissioning & startup. Achieving results by completing projects on time and within budget.
* Responsible for overseeing various capital projects, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.
* Management of safety and performance of contractors on capital project work.
* Multi-discipline project experience would be ideal, but key deliverables are boilers, vessels, filtration systems, pipework etc.
* Ensure designs meet requirements, standards, and deadlines.
* Assist with tendering processes and hands on cross-functional liaison with in-house teams.
* Acting as site Co-ordinator in conjunction with project HSSEQ.
* Responsible for managing objectives, milestones, communication, and timelines.
* Coordinate with colleagues and produce regular progress reports.
* Be responsible for Senior Stakeholder Management, Programme Management, Governance and Delivery of all Project Objectives.
* Build an effective working relationship with Operations teams and provide technical advice to make improvements to current work practices.
* You will be site based from Lincoln but there will be infrequentin travel involved to other sites.
Experience & Skills:
* Ideally degree qualified or equivalent industry experience within an engineering discipline.
* Industry experience in either chemicals, petrochemicals, oil & gas, COMAH sites, water indsurty or heavy process experience is ideal.
* Ideally Project Manageement qualification or equivalent experience.
* Significant experience managing capital projects in the manufacturing industry.
* Understanding of control systems and instrumentation would be highly beneficial.
* Strong negotiation skills
