You will be responsible for visiting different sites across the UK and oversee all washroom projects, from the design to installation, hire and manage all subcontractors whilst sticking to a tight schedule. As this is a remote role, the right candidate must be prepared to travel and occasionally stay overnight in a hotel.

Our client has established themselves in the washroom industry since 2014, quickly turning over £7 million in the last 7 years. Specialising in projects within educational institutions and large commercial offices across the UK, our client is constantly expanding and has experience working on million pound projects with quick completion.

Description

  • Contact and manage site teams to conduct surveys and labour work
  • Dimensional changes to be issued back to design manager/CAD for revisions
  • Liaise with dispatch for delivery load planning for following week
  • Establish a labour plan using available labour and issue POs for the work
  • Communicate with subcontractors and organise work to be conducted and ensure that all work is at a high standard
  • Issue order requests for necessary materials and arrange deliveries
  • Any alterations to the drawings/plans when the project is ongoing need to be emailed to the client/site team & a site instruction obtained before any further work is carried out
  • Monthly updates with accounting team for applications and ensure all incurred costs are covered
  • Track the costs for the project and liaise with the Contracts Director

Profile

  • Minimum qualification - GCSE level A-C (5-9)
  • Full driving licence
  • Site Management Safety Training Certificate ideal but will be provided if not already gained
  • Previous experience of managing live onsite projects
  • Organised
  • Computer literate
  • Ideally from washroom, shop fitting or joinery background but not essential
  • Willing to travel to sites across the UK
