Compliance Manager / Quality Systems Manager - Food - Dorchester - £Competitive
My Client, a leading food manufacturer in their field, is currently looking to recruit a Technical Compliance Manager / Quality Systems Manager / QSM Manager for their site near Dorchester. Reporting to the Technical Manager your main job role will be QA accountability for Supplier Approval, Internal Quality Auditing, Non-conformance Management and Management reporting. As the successful Compliance Manager you will have two direct reports, a training coordinator and a technical administrator. This is a day based Monday - Friday role and the role has only become available due to relocation
The role will include:
·- Managing the Site Audit Schedule
·- Manage Monthly Line Audits, Hygiene/Housekeeping
·- Supporting Customer, Regulatory & 3rd Party audits on site
·- Manage the site non-conformance recording system covering external & internal audits
·- Managing the site Quality Assurance Supplier approval process
·- Respond to customer queries
·- Manage the training of current and new staff against COP/SOP's.
·- Export administration - raise Certificates of Analysis, Export certificates and provide compliant paperwork for Veterinary approval
Knowledge and experience:
·- Working knowledge of Quality Management systems
·- Experience of Factory systems & procedures
·- Able to manage and motivate staff
·- HACCP & auditing qualifications
·- Confident in dealing with Customers and Suppliers
·- Knowledge of Customer Codes of Practice and retailer on line systems
