Our client is a family run business with a turnover in excess of 120 million and they have an enviable reputation within their business sector providing products to the garage and motor sector.
Due to continued success they have an immediate vacancy for a Business Development Manager to cover the North East of England and Scottish Borders territory.
The role will mainly involve mainly account management (98%) where you will build strong relationships with existing customers to develop sales and accounts. There will also be a very small amount of new business hunting (2%) where you will identify new customers.
The accounts you will manage will consist of Car Dealerships and independent garages.
You will also manage a CRM database and keep customers informed about new products and reward programmes. Attending events to promote the company will also happen from time to time.
Salary is between 30-31k basic with commission (OTE 44K), Car, Private Medical and Life Assurance.
Candidates applying for this role should have longevity within previous sales roles, be used to developing existing accounts, tenacious and extremely driven.
