It is an exciting time at AO for our mobile category. Just over a year ago we acquired Mobile Phones Direct and we have been working hard to integrate the business into the One AO ecosystem.
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced application lead to come in and take ownership of all the systems that underpin the mobile offering.
This role will be essential in taking the business to the next level by using technology as an enabler.
Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
We are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running. You will be required to fully assess our back end systems and ensure they are fit for purpose, if not you will define and own the remediation plans. Working with 3rd parties and the wider AO Tech function you will ensure there is an adequate support offering for each system (including in/out of hours support and escalation). You will be the go to person for any queries.
Where 3rd parties and used you will own the relationship and make sure they are delivering against their service levels. This will require you to conduct frequent service reviews so good vendor management skills are needed.
You will work with the business to map out business process and help to identify where technology can improve operations or customer experience. Once identified you will see these changes through to implementation.
Systems in scope include.
- CRM (Currently Oracle Sales Cloud)
- Customer Communications (E-mail and Text)
- Network Integrations (O2, Vodafone, Three)
- Warehouse Integrations
A Few Things About You
· Knowledge of Oracle Sales Cloud
· Application support experience

· Service Transition (Onboarding of applications)
