Assistant Branch Manager - VIVALDA Hull

The Role:

Full time, permanent

Reporting To:

Branch Manager


Competitive, dependent on experience

Hours of Attendance:

08:30 to 17:30 (one hour unpaid lunch break), Monday to Friday (flexibility is required to meet the demands of the business)

VIVALDA Group Plc has an annual turnover of £30 million. The Group PLC has been in operation since 1999, and operates out of 8 facilities across the UK and Ireland.

We work with technical building contractors and architects on billion-pound complexes as well as much smaller modern residences similar to those featured on 'Grand Designs', supplying high value materials.

Job Purpose:

To assist the Branch Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Branch, which includes deputising in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage our customers receive an excellent service;

* Management of Administration, Sales, Driver and Warehouse Teams;

* Train, develop, support and motivate your team;

* Help to build branch sales and profits;

* Generate new customers;

* Run an efficient and effective operation by managing the stock and properly utilising your vehicles;

* Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures, ensuring all mandatory training is completed and the branch is a safe place to work;

* Manging the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager

* Any other duties as required by management

Person Specification:

* Strong character with career aspirations to become Branch Manager in the future

* Strong sales/customer service experience

* Experience in the building/Envelope industry

* Excellent planning and organisation skills

* IT Literate to a high standard

* Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

* The ability to provide a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

* A positive team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

* Flexible in attendance

* Full clean driving licence
