Salary: up to £42,000 + Benefits

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Role duties;

  • Daily management of a training centre its associated geographical area, ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of Tutor's, to achieve sustained high performance, quality of delivery and compliance in line with our client's standards across their skills division.
  • Responsible for overseeing attraction, delivery and retention of the whole learner journey to ensure the learners receive an excellent learning experience.
  • Ensure all delivery staff have a clear understanding of their measurable Targets / KPI s, and effectively performance manage them to achieve these targets.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of contractual and stakeholder requirements/
  • Oversee P&L and the achievement of financial targets and ensure accurate financial forecasts are produced.
  • Ensure that staffing levels are maintained and that vacancies are addressed and recruited for efficiently
  • Develop and nurture your team, carry out regular performance reviews and ensure team targets are met and/or exceeded.
  • Carry out regular observations of activity, coaching and ongoing support to include one to ones and reviews.
  • Address under-performance and set out clear corrective actions for improvement.
  • Work closely with the quality team to ensure compliance and quality standards are maintained.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience of managing and motivating a high performing team of Tutor's across a large geographical area.
  • Experience of driving successful and profitable operational performance against KPI's and financial targets.
  • Experience of working with external stakeholders, e.g. JCP, LEPs and Commissioners.
  • Experience of managing P&L
  • Broad understanding of government funding rules
  • A proven track record of managing high value contracts.
  • Ideally hold a teaching qualification at level 3 or above such as PTLLS / AET
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
