£32,938 - £35,999 (+ up to £1,800 St Modwen's Bursary Scheme p/a depending on qualifying criteria)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an Apprenticeship Standards Manager with exceptional knowledge and experience in Construction.
In addition to supporting the Directorate in planning and shaping the sector you will have direct responsibility for the management of the area.
You will support and motivate your team to deliver an outstanding learning experience and drive quality improvements that will lead to high levels of learner retention, achievement, and success.
You will be in a position to engage with employers to understand their changing needs and increase the uptake and reputational value of apprenticeships for Burton and South Derbyshire College.
Management experience at this level is essential, as is being able to demonstrate current knowledge of the construction industry that translates to outstanding delivery of learning.
Essential criteria from person specification:
Sound knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards
Up to date relevant industry knowledge and experience in Construction Trades
Level 4 Construction qualification
Teaching qualification or willing to work towards
Internal Verifier Award or willing to work towards
Experience of management within the work-based learning environment.
